I visited after seeing it on Instagram and ordered the VIP course. Each piece of sushi was delicate and refined, with the sweet shrimp topped with caviar standing out for its perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. Many of the guests seemed to be international visitors, and the dishes featuring luxurious ingredients, along with touches like freshly shaved truffle, seemed especially appealing to them. It was a sushi restaurant with a strong sense of entertainment. At first, I thought the chef might be the quiet, stoic type, but he turned out to be very friendly, engaging, and full of humor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding — Best Sushi Experience in Osaka! Sushi Fukushima is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Japan. From start to finish, everything was perfection — the presentation, the flavors, and the fun, interactive atmosphere made it unforgettable. We had the Standard Course (松コース), and every single dish was superb — from the delicate steamed egg custard to the perfectly grilled silver cod in saikyo sauce, and the freshest assortment of sushi including bluefin tuna, sweet shrimp, sea bream, and eel. Each bite was beautifully balanced and bursting with flavor. You can truly taste the freshness and top-tier quality of the ingredients. What made the experience even more special was how engaging it was — the chef Masa was great and put on a delightful little show with each course, explaining and preparing the sushi right before you. It felt intimate, authentic, and joyful all at once. If you’re in Osaka and love sushi, Sushi Fukushima is a must. Refined yet warm, fun yet elegant — it’s a culinary gem that deserves every bit of praise. Easily the best sushi in Osaka!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Omakase Experience in Fukushima, Osaka Dining at this Japanese omakase restaurant was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. Every course was a work of art — beautifully presented, delicately balanced, and bursting with authentic flavor. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and the attention to detail in each dish reflected deep mastery and pride in Japanese culinary tradition. A special mention must go to Chef Taisho, whose warm hospitality and outstanding craftsmanship made the evening unforgettable. He explained each dish with passion and precision, and his skill behind the counter was mesmerizing to watch. You can truly feel the dedication and heart he puts into every piece of sushi. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, allowing us to savor every bite in comfort. Service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive. If you’re in Osaka and want to experience genuine omakase at its finest, this is the place to go. Chef Taisho and his team deliver not just a meal, but a memorable culinary journey. Chef Seiki Yamasaki is incredible! The sushi dinner was outstanding, with more than 18 different dishes, each prepared with fresh, unique, and flavorful ingredients. Chef Seiki is not only skilled but also funny and entertaining, which made the experience even more memorable. We truly enjoyed a special sushi evening in Osaka. Thank you to Chef Seiki and the entire team for making it so wonderful!

We had a nice dining experience here during our stay in Osaka. One of the staff members spoke good English and we were able to converse about the chef and the food. The space felt a bit tight. There were a couple of interesting dishes and we certainly did not leave hungry. However, the sushi did not taste that fresh, which was surprising and disappointing. The soup was almost gravy like served without any protein in it. We appreciated the effort that the chef and team put into the meal, though, the Mario imitation and the swords seemed gimmicky to us. Overall, we did have a nice dining experience here even though we think the food should be better in this price range and in this fabulous food city.
