An incredible eating and dining experience in Chile. One of the best I have had in my lifetime. The service was superb and friendly, the food was imaginative and delicious, and it was a joy to be there in the beautiful space. The prices were more than reasonable for fresh, local ingredients. The flavors and combinations were clever and thoughtful. I would give more stars if i could. We had trout carpaccio with lime sorbet, beef in a chocolate carrerra sauce, crab tortellini made with squid ink, and desserts of meringue flambe and homemade ice creams. Delightful, warm, romantic space with lots of art, an eclectic collection of knickknacks and a huge fireplace. Despite the seemingly random nature, I suspect a lot of thought went into making this delightful space. Tables are spaced well for privacy and intimacy. Seats are comfortable and there is a lovely area with lots of food books and armchairs. There's even a fishtank with tropical fish. Staff are professional and courteous and they gave us a version of the menu in English, which helped a lot as many of the ingredients used are quite uncommon and so the names in Spanish were unknown to me. There is no wine list. Instead, you are invited to check out the wines on various tables around the restaurant. There is a color coded system for most of the wines by price, up to 22,000 per bottle and a range of individually priced higher end wines for those willing to splurge. We had a lovely Carmenere and a local variety called Pais, a delightful lighter style unfamiliar to me but which I will search out now. As for the food, it was both delicious and whimsically artistically presented. It changes according to the availability of the ingredients, but we had the Boneless Lamb with Morel Mushrooms, Salmon with housemade pasta, Crab pasta pockets and the Scallop Tartare. All were of the highest quality, cooked perfectly and everything tasted absolutely delicious. There are unusual items such as Hare, Stingray and Abalone on the menu if available. Desserts are a particular canvas for whimsy but not at the expense of great taste. This is truly one of the best restaurants in Chile and a wonderfully unexpected pleasure in Patagonia. So good we went two nights in a row. The good: Inside restaurant is nicely decorated. The presentation of the dishes are pretty good. The beef tongue was unbelievably tender, we could cut it with a fork. The Hake fish was very well cooked. The salsa that came with the bread was very good, if the bread was warmed up, would of been even better. The bad: First server who sat us down seemed completely uninterested. My lamb came with a potatoe that was simply boiled, cut and put on my plate, no grill marks, no seasoning. The lamb was tasty but chewy, maybe boneless lamb shank gets much more chewy than beef shank? One refill of my wine glass came quite short, we couldn't help but to laugh about it. The ugly: The service sucked. The uninterested lady that sat us and took our order became even more disinterested. She was busy on her phone while our table sat with piled up dishes. The food was deceiving. Flavors were missing.

Mmmm I don’t know where to start first… Service was terrible. There were 2 servers but only the young guy was trying to run around and serve all the customers while the other lady just completely ignored and get busy on her phone when our table are full with dirty dishes… Second, food quality was just so so. The beef tongue and hale fish itself were properly cooked. My husband ordered lamb with fried potatoes. It came pretty chewy with sad boiled potatoes. My dish was hake with beetroot risotto. Risotto tasted weird ( maybe some kind of seasoning that I’m not familiar with the taste) I was able to eat the hake and cold mussels only. Oh well. Tons of room to improve before it’s too late!

What an amazing restaurant. The best meal we have had in 5 weeks travelling through Chile (including Santiago, Atacama, Puerto Varas and the Carretera Austral to this point). The restaurant itself is beautiful with a huge log fireplace and fancy log cabin furniture. The staff were amazing even giving us English menus without asking. This did help explain some of the dishes that google translate failed at. Not only was everything we ate amazing and would easily give top notch London restaurants a run for their money, the Pisco Sours were also the best we have had in Chile. The wine concept is also brilliant - a table of wine with coloured stickers - green, yellow and orange - each colour a different price. We would have come back again but sadly they are closed on Sundays. COME HERE!
