We arrived in Vila Nova de Gaia to visit the viewpoint of Serra do Pilar, and we will have a panoramic view of the whole of Porto. In Porto we will visit Livraria Lello, which served as inspiration for the writer of the Harry Potter Book. We visited the Torre dos Clérigos dating from 1753 which is the tallest building in the city with its clock to give hours to the whole city. Visit the São Bento Train Station with its walls lined with Azuleijos, go down to the Ribeira next to the Douro River, and we will visit some wine cellars, and taste the famous Port wine. We continue our trip to Óbidos, where we will find a Medieval Village In Óbidos you have to drink a Ginjinha, which is a liqueur made with wild cherries.

Then, pass through Cabo Girão (highest cliff in Europe with 580 meters offering magnificent views of the sea, Câmara de Lobos and Funchal). We continue our journey along the coast to Ribeira Brava. We start climbing up Encumeada to the plateau of Paul da Serra (1400 meters). Descend to Porto Moniz where you can admire the natural pools. Stop for lunch (lunch not included). Then, return by the northern coast, passing through Seixal and São Vicente. Climb to Encumeada (1007 meters) from where we can see the sea from both sides. Return to Funchal. On January 1st and December 25th there are no excursions.
