Achiote was such an incredible experience for my coworker and I who were in Ecuador for a work trip. We wanted authentic Ecuadorian cuisine and this is truly the place. It’s family run, and is also their family home that they turned into a stunning restaurant. Andres is the chef, and he personally came out to speak with us about the food we ordered. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This is not an inexpensive restaurant on any standard. However, food was good. Wine is also good but was very expensive considering being in Quito. Service was great.
