So I was hungry for ceviche and we came here. First of all the other dishes we got. Tenderloin with chimichurri sauce. Mixto ceviche and the mote. First the mote not my favorite very bland and the chicharrones were tough. The tenderloin was good not great. So why a 4 start. Because if the mixto ceviche. Probably the best ceviche we have had so far!

Loved the experience with the "Helado the Paila", the atmosphere, decoration and service. We went there looking for a great experience, and it was worth it. This is the restaurant of the hotel of the same name. We tried coffee, chocolate, "espumilla", "helado de paila" and empanadas, but gonna talk about it in a bit. Everything was nicely served and the "cucurucho" experience with the ice cream was great and different. We loved it. It's served in a steamy plate that mimics a magic potion. You have to take a picture of it. Plus, the presence of a beloved character in Quito's culture, it's an awesome mix. The only complaint was empanadas. Too greasy, the dough was too thick so they felt heavy. We ordered the "de viento" empanadas plus the general order of four, which comes with a variety of them. Espumilla is literally for 3 or more people. It tastes really good. That is also a traditional desert here. You have to try it.

The staff was very professional and helpful. They did a great job of accommodating our large group. The attention we received was exceptional. Amazed at this place!

Great meal, presentation and service! Normally animals are not permitted, but it was not too busy this morning so my small and well trained service animal was allowed inside with me. They even brought him water.

Found this spot walking around looking for a nice coffee and small dessert. They had such a nice little experience and the desserts were so yummy. Really recommend trying if around the center!
