I had a late lunch with some other tourists from a nearby hostel. There was about a 15 minute wait with lots of locals in line, so figured it'd be good. The food was great, the service was phenomenal and the drinks were refreshing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks are sweet and the food is even better. You can easily experience different flavors with the tablón quiteño. We arrived at 12pm as the restaurant opened and got a superb table for two right above the sign on the terrace. The service was warm, cheerful and friendly and the food was EXCELLENT! Not having been to Ecuador before we ordered a selection of local dishes and every one exceeded our expectations. Hasta la vuelta Senor is a must for all visitors to Quito 👌🏻😁

We arrived at 12pm as the restaurant opened and got a superb table for two right above the sign on the terrace. The service was warm, cheerful and friendly and the food was EXCELLENT! Not having been to Ecuador before we ordered a selection of local dishes and every one exceeded our expectations. Hasta la vuelta Senor is a must for all visitors to Quito 👌🏻😁

Part of the “encanto” of the historic center of Quito with typical food in a romantic and typical setting. We enjoyed live piano music in the open air balcony. Ate empanadas de viento, Locro, fanesca, tostadas and drank canelazo. We will definitely be back as the service was wonderful and the food delicious.

Food was a little underwhelming...for my taste needs draining. But the ambience and staff were lovely. A little pricey for food and they add a service charge to the bill without asking.
