Very good Hostel. Good offers for tours and day tours. They offer also a shuttle to la mitad del mundo with Julio. Overall very nice people and if you stay in Quito you definitely have to stay here. Also veery nice rooftop bar. This place is THE backpacker hub in Quito, and for good reason! Multiple of the staff have gone above and beyond for me (I once even got escorted to an atm nearby so I won’t walk alone at night) and I so appreciate it! The rooms can differ a little in quality as the place is so big, but honestly secret garden has been a little home for me in Ecuador:) Cannot recommend enough! Secret Garden is centrally located. Rooms are clean and quiet. Julio greets you, answers any questions, and is available to help with anything you need. Showers are hot. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Rooftop restaurant has excellent service, food, draft beers, andview of the city. Laundry service is very low cost, high quality, and back in 4 hours. Wonderful hostel with excellent staff who are here to serve.

Very good Hostel. Good offers for tours and day tours. They offer also a shuttle to la mitad del mundo with Julio. Overall very nice people and if you stay in Quito you definitely have to stay here. Also veery nice rooftop bar.

This place is THE backpacker hub in Quito, and for good reason! Multiple of the staff have gone above and beyond for me (I once even got escorted to an atm nearby so I won’t walk alone at night) and I so appreciate it! The rooms can differ a little in quality as the place is so big, but honestly secret garden has been a little home for me in Ecuador:) Cannot recommend enough!

Secret Garden is centrally located. Rooms are clean and quiet. Julio greets you, answers any questions, and is available to help with anything you need. Showers are hot. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Rooftop restaurant has excellent service, food, draft beers, andview of the city. Laundry service is very low cost, high quality, and back in 4 hours. Wonderful hostel with excellent staff who are here to serve.

Stayed 3 nights and loved it! The decor is so fitting of the name "secret garden". It's the kind of hostel that brings really lovely backpackers, we made lots of friends. We stayed in a private room with a communal bathroom; both were clean and met their needs, though, it can be a little tricky to get hot water. There is a bar/restaurant on the roof with great menu for both breakfast and dinner and a beautiful view of the city! The restaurant offers discounts to the hostel's guests, has a happy hour, and offers "family" dinners. Highly recommend staying here if you're a backpacker

I really enjoyed my stay at The Secret Garden Quito! The vibe is super chill and it’s an awesome place for solo travelers — easy to meet people and the rooftop view is incredible. The staff are all super friendly and helpful — Irwin especially did an amazing job! He gave me great tips and recommendations that fit perfectly with my kind of trip. The only thing is that the rooms are a bit dark, but honestly that’s a small thing compared to everything else.
