The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was the incredible team and the outstanding food. The service was impeccable. Jam and Marcy provided attentive, seamless, and genuinely warm hospitality throughout the night. They anticipated our needs without being intrusive, and their recommendations were spot-on. We also want to give a special shout-out to Melike for ensuring our table was perfectly attended to—her friendly demeanor and efficiency were appreciated. The entire front-of-house team clearly operates at a very high standard. Behind the scenes, the kitchen team is crafting magic. Our meal was an absolute triumph of flavor and presentation. Huge compliments are due to Chef Talal and Chef Bayu for the magnificent dishes they prepared. Every course was a demonstration of skill and passion, using high-quality ingredients to create truly memorable plates. La Brasserie is more than just a meal; it's a complete dining experience. The combination of exceptional culinary talent from Chef Talal and Chef Bayu and the wonderful hospitality provided by Jam, Marcy, and Melike makes this restaurant an absolute must-visit. I had an exceptional experience in La Brasserie. The atmosphere, food, drinks, service and stuff are one of a kind. I enjoyed my dinner buffet. They always kept a lovely smile, offered support and even celebrated my birthday. It was a remarkable day for me. La Brasserie used to be the best buffet in Riyadh, but my last two visits were disappointing Place and atmosphere: Elegant, quiet, still nice and no issue Salads: all great Soup: usually only 1 type and it's okay Sushi: quality went down massively, you also cannot display Scallop sashimi touching salmon and tuna as people with allergies won't be able to eat, i also suggest the sashimi to be cut to order to preserve the quality Indian corner: the best out of the bunch, but no fresh bread, they used to bake roti on the spot Italian corner: disappointing, pasta sauces are not good anymore and the pizza dough needs a complete revamp, it's clearly not fermented enough, i suggest to ferment it for 2 or 3 days Dim sim station: this was my favorite ever but it's not there anymore International food: this was good Grill station: burnt and scorched not grilled, the koftas tasted very badly burnt Desserts: the creme brulee has become so bad, it was like a chocolate creme brulee, no vanilla, no crispy top, also the date pudding sauce was very bad, it tasted like melted butter and not a caramel sauce, the desserts were a disaster Service: it was a chore to find a waiter, everyone was busy except being busy to take care of customers, the place had like 3 or 4 tables yet I had to get up to find someone to ask for stuff, and they either stopped giving out a welcome drink or just forgot From the best buffet in riyadh to a shadow of its former self, but at even a higher price than before, La Brasserie needs an overhaul and a serious stand from their management to get this place back to its former glory

We recently celebrated a friend’s birthday at La Brasserie in the Mandarin Oriental Riyadh, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth that instantly set the tone for a special afternoon. The lunch buffet was exceptional, beautifully presented and offering a wide range of cuisines that catered to every taste. The salad station was fresh and colorful, the cold mezze captured authentic Middle Eastern flavors, and the Indian corner served fragrant curries. We also enjoyed the sushi station, which featured freshly prepared rolls, and the pizza station. To top it all off, the dessert bar was a feast for the eyes—offering an irresistible array of pastries, cakes, and sweets that were the perfect ending to our meal. While the food was incredible, what truly made this birthday lunch memorable was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. Suzanne, the F&B Manager, stood out for her warmth and genuine care. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and that our celebration felt special. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly reflect the high standards of Mandarin Oriental. A heartfelt thank you as well to Sanita and Ashad, who were both exceptional throughout the afternoon. They anticipated our needs with perfect timing always attentive, always smiling, and made sure we were looked after. La Brasserie delivered not just an exquisite meal, but a heartfelt experience. Thank you, Suzanne, Sanita, Ashad, and the rest of your team for making my friend’s birthday lunch truly unforgettable. We will definitely be back soon!

📍 @labrasserieruh delivers one of the best brunch experiences in Riyadh — elegant atmosphere, beautifully plated dishes, and an incredible variety that keeps you exploring from starters to desserts. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 What’s missing a bit is the service. Drinks were there in the beginning, but then kinda disappeared throughout the day. You can always ask for more, but with the service being on the slower side, it takes a while to get them. 💰 Price: 397 SAR per person 📅 Available only on Fridays — definitely worth planning around. If you’re looking for a classy yet lively brunch in Riyadh, this one should be on your list.
