Saint-Emilion Chateau & Vineyard Tours

Enjoy an afternoon of French wine tasting in either the Medoc or St-Emilion wine region on this small-group tour from Bordeaux. Visit one wonderful French château and enjoy tasting different wines accompanied by a typical French platter of local bread, cheese and cured meat. End your afternoon with sightseeing and a wine workshop where you’ll learn some expert wine-tasting tips.

Come to discover the prestigious vineyard of Saint-Emilion ! Go off to explore the lovely medieval village of Saint-Emilion, taste top wines and visit both prestigious and rustic wineries during a 5-hours tour in minibus (maximum of 8 people) with a savvy guide. At each winery, you will have an introduction about the history of the estate, then you will visit the technical installations, ending with an explanation about the oak barrels and the aging process. The tour will end with a commented tasting of the Château wines. Your tour includes 6 wines tasting minimum and a French aperitif (cheese, cured meat, chocolate & crackers...) OR sweet specialities from Bordeaux macaroons from Saint-Emilion & cannelés depending on the day of the visit. The visit fo Saint-Emilion village is included in the tour. The morning tour starts at 8.30 am and finishs at 1.30 pm (+/- 15 minutes) The afternoon tour starts at 13.30 pm and finishs at 6.30pm (+/- 15 minutes)

Depart from the city center of Bordeaux aboard a van to discover Saint-Emilion, its wines, and its history. First, your guide will immerse you in the history of this UNESCO World Heritage site and its historical monuments through a village visit. You will discover the secrets of this medieval village, which is the birthplace of Bordeaux winemaking. Next, you will visit a Château and enjoy a tasting of 3 wines paired with charcuterie & cheese. You will learn more about the specificities of this appellation, including the grape varieties and winemaking techniques used to create these unique wines. This small-group tour in an ideal setting will introduce you to the art of winemaking and tasting, and allow you to ask all your questions to our guide!

Our visit includes the discovery of 2 very different and completely separate castles. The big advantage is to be able to discover 2 styles at the same time and thus to have a visit and a complete tasting of what we can do in Saint Emilion Grand Cru.
