We had a wonderful waitress name Lali serving us for our dinner last night and she was not only friendly and polite, she was also very engaging. Her knowledge of the drinks menu and food menu was incredible and gave us some great suggestions. The $200 32 ounce Tomahawk steaks was cooked in profession, well seasoned too. $95 12 ounce lobster tails are just fine. But the view of the Santa Clara Valley is priceless, as spectacular as it can be if you can catch the sunset. It’s a great place for your special occasion!

This restaurant is worthy to be the place for celebrating your important moment in your life! The food, the service and the thousands-dollar view were perfect for my family’s birthday celebration, every dishes were delicious! Our service gave us restaurant background story and menu suggestions very well! The view from rosy sunset to city lights in the dark was fantastic ! One thing needs to be aware: the place is on the hill, so please make reservation before sunset, driving up will be easier with daylight! Otherwise here is one of my favorites!

Food & Ambiance: It was my birthday and my boyfriend surprised me with this gorgeous restaurant and fantastic food! We had the best poke taco EVER. I couldn’t describe how the mouthful of flavored poke and crunchy taco were so balanced and blown us away! The cocktails are delightful to look at and enjoy. We ordered one pasta dish and a steak dish because we wanted to try both, and it was the best decision we made! The texture of the pasta is perfect and the sauce… 🤩 so delicious! The steak is tender and definitely do medium or medium rare as they suggested. We were too full to try their dessert but I bet it’s great as well! Service: they were so attentive from leading us in , seating us down, introducing the menu and bringing the orders.

We visited The Grandview to celebrate a family birthday. The view and service were pleasant, but unfortunately, the food and pricing left much to be desired. The kids’ menu is extremely limited — just one pasta option with three sauce choices. What’s worse, our server quoted $12 per plate, but we were later charged $14 each. That lack of transparency was disappointing from a restaurant of this category. The Squid Ink Pasta with Prawns felt like a complete rip-off at $45 — the sauce was bland, and there were only five shrimp on the plate. The Pollo Parmigiana, priced at $47, came without any side dish — no pasta, no vegetables, nothing — just the chicken. Charging nearly fifty dollars for a plain chicken dish without accompaniments feels unreasonable. The Agnolotti della Montagna and cocktails were decent, though not memorable. The house Zinfandel was the highlight of the meal — smooth and enjoyable — yet it’s not even listed on the menu, which only features far more expensive wines. To be fair, the service was attentive and friendly, which helped make the evening more enjoyable. However, with a final bill of $497.29 for six people, the value simply doesn’t match the cost. Overall impression: The Grandview offers a beautiful setting and good service, but the food quality, portion sizes, and pricing do not justify the expense. A disappointing experience for what should have been a special night.

For the price, the food was just OK. Not terrible but not outstanding. Now the service, awesome. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and made our experience great. The staff was accommodating, they helped us move from a table to bar seating with a better view of the sunset. The atmosphere was top notch and the views were definitely grand. Be careful if you go at night. As you leave there are cars parked on the side of the road, at times impeding traffic. Our server warned us and I'm glad she did. I will be going back.
