The "Hol Chan Marine Reserve" and "Shark & Ray Alley" are the most famous sites near Ambergris Caye & home to more than 200 species of fish, Rays, pristine coral formations along with sea turtles, rays & much more. "Shark & Ray Alley" offers a friendly but trilling experience with friendly Nurse Sharks, fishes & Southern Stingrays in their natural habitat.

An idea of the itinerary is as follows: Depart at 8:30am for 15 Minutes boat ride to Hol Chan Marine Reserve followed by orientation. 8:45am to 9:45am snorkel At Hol Chan. Boat ride to Shark Ray Alley 10 Minutes. 10am snorkeling at Shark Ray Alley for 25 - 35 Minutes. 10 Minutes ride to Coral Gardens for our 3rd Snorkel stop. 10:15am to 11:15am: Snorkel Coral Gardens. 10 Minutes ride from Coral Gardens to the North Channel to snorkel & look for Manatees. Snorkel for approximately 45 Minutes at North Channel. 15 Minutes ride to Caye Caulker. After consulting with our guests we make a decision to continue to tarpon interaction or take a break to Enjoy a warm Belizean Lunch. At about 1:30pm; take some time to explore the laid back Island of Caye caulker where you can purchase souvenirs. We depart at 3pm enroute to San Pedro with arrival there at about 4pm.

Laughing Bird Caye is a National Park and World Heritage Site. It is a long and narrow island known for its abundance of marine life and corals. The name comes from the gulls that are among the many birds that Inhabit the north end of the caye. Laughing Bird Caye offers excellent snorkeling as would be expected at a national park. On the east side of the island coral mounds separated by sandy patches rise to about 5 feet from the surface. These mounds have a variety of coral types which are home to lobsters, barracuda, lizardfish, angel fish, parrot fish, spotted drums, southern rays and a myriad of reef fish. On the west side your guide will find lobster, barracuda, lizardfish, Nassau grouper, angel fish, furry sea cucumbers, conch and lots and lots of colourful juvenile reef fish.

Hol Chan Marine Reserve is located off the southern tip of Ambergris Caye. Mayan for “little channel”, Hol Chan Marine Reserve is doubtfully one of the most popular dive sites in the Caribbean, and indeed in Belize. The entire reserve focuses on a cut through the reef (called a quebrada) which is little more than 25 yards wide and 30 feet deep about 4 miles southeast of San Pedro. Hol Chan has burgeoned into a unique refuge, with vigorous coral formations and a richness of marine life. We will then head to the neighboring Turtle Garden, where you will snorkel or dive and be able to get up close and personal with ecstatic Sea Turtle and Southern Sting Rays. When you arrive, you will see the surface often boiling with rolling sharks and sting ray as they compete for the scraps. These creatures have a great tolerance for divers and snorkelers.
