Our surf instructors are certified by (ISA) international surfing association Beach rescue lifeguard and Institution Costa Rican of Tourism (ICT) Our mission is to educate inspire and empower people to a greater sense of awareness and knowledge through surfing. It is our job to help you feel comfortable, confident and have fun out there. Lessons can be 1 on 1 or for a group up to 12 people.

Share the energy of the group, laugh, challenge yourself and live an authentic experience guided by Juan, our main instructor, is a surfer with more than 20 years of experience teaching in Santa Teresa and a lifetime dedicated to the sea. It is certified as a lifesaver and backed by the local surf association, ensuring professionalism and safety. ✨Because not only will you learn to surf, but you will live an authentic, safe and personalized experience. We adapt each class to the level of the student – beginner, intermediate or advanced – to ensure a real and fun evolution.

Cabuya has one of the best intermediate surf spots in the country, this is a point break, this means the waves will break around the same area and has a channel to paddle out behind the waves. With long and perfect waves will give you the chance to practice the techniques of the intermediate level such as # 1 Paddle back out from the breaking waves using the turtle dive to pass waves. #2 Sit on the surfboard with control and manage to turn the board and prepare to catch the waves.#3Lie down with balance on the board and do long, deep paddings to catch the wave before it brakes. #4 Takeoff on the wave make the bottom turn and set up the surfboard on a line to ride the face of the wave.
