When your in Sedona, it's a must visit!! Beautiful architecture, outdoors with trees abound. A great time is fall, leaves are changing to fall colors, 60 degree weather under sunny and partly cloudy days. Several shops and a couple good places to eat in this center. I ate at Oak Creek Brewery and Grill when I visited, which was absolutely wonderful. I walked leisurely throughout the center and popped in a few of the art shops, rug stores;etc. Even on a Wednesday it was busy with people visiting and shopping from all over the world. A great experience. Very unique and beautiful buildings to walk around and enjoy the Mexican architecture here. Love the flute musician playing by the secret garden cafe. There was a newly opened underpass connecting the North and South mall, it was a nice short walk by the water. Such beauty in every turn throughout Tlaquepaque. From art to amazing water fountains, beautiful flowers to restaurants and chai spots. There is something for everyone, but let me tell you most items will cost you a pretty penny here. It is an amazing photo op area for any budding or professional. If you’re in Sedona and have the time it’s must stop at-least once. I highly recommend d checking out the chapel. While small it is beautiful.

I was pleasantly surprised—Tlaquepaque doesn’t feel like a mall, it feels like stepping into a charming Mexican courtyard. With cobblestone walkways, vine-covered walls, fountains, and shaded courtyards, it’s serene, beautiful, and unforgettable. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🛍 Shops & Galleries The selection is amazing. From jewelry and blown glass to fine art, pottery, and textiles, every shop feels unique and carefully curated. This isn’t about souvenirs—it’s about discovering authentic, meaningful pieces. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🖼 Atmosphere & Design The setting is what makes this place special. Serene courtyards, trickling fountains, adobe-style architecture, and sycamore-shaded walkways make you slow down and enjoy. It’s peaceful yet lively, the perfect balance. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🍴 Food, Tea & Drinks I enjoyed food, tea, and drinks here, and it all matched the atmosphere perfectly. From El Rincón’s authentic plates to The Chai Spot’s cozy tea lounge, dining feels like part of the cultural experience. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🤝 Staff & Service The people here really add to it—friendly, polite, and knowledgeable staff in both the shops and restaurants. They treat you warmly without being pushy, which makes the visit even better. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🚗 Parking The only weak spot. While parking is free, it’s limited and fills up fast during busy hours. There are overflow lots (like across at Tlaquepaque North), but you’ll likely need patience and a short walk. Rating: ⭐⭐ ✅ Overall: Tlaquepaque is one of Sedona’s true gems—a place that combines authentic Mexican courtyard charm, outstanding shops, serene beauty, great food, and welcoming staff. Parking is the only challenge, but once you’re inside, it’s pure magic.

This is the go-to place to shop or just browse. There is something for everyone. The earlier you go the better as it gets busy really quick in the afternoon. We saw paintings, spices, spirits (small batch), sculptures, clothes, hats, jewelry, books, and wind vanes and we were there for about three hours and only got to see the left side. Across the road on the right side you could spend another three hours easily if you so choose. It is very nice and tranquil. Check out the videos as they will do more justice, than my talking. Great times!!!
