A local guide recommended the Lion Rock Beach Bar & Grill and it turned out to be a perfect find. We rented beach chairs, went for a swim, and enjoyed some icy cold beers while soaking up the sun. The crystal-clear water and relaxed atmosphere made it easy to spend a few hours just unwinding. We loved it so much that we came back a couple of days later! Without doubt, from the uk originally, lived across the Caribbean for 25 years, the best, literally the best , lobster and conch ever. This place is a gem, forget Arthur’s across the way, hardly open , bad reviews. Stop here, you will not be disappointed. Open everyday, if chef not there , he soon come. Great location on Cockleshell Beach. Friendly staff, really cold beer and good food.

Without doubt, from the uk originally, lived across the Caribbean for 25 years, the best, literally the best , lobster and conch ever. This place is a gem, forget Arthur’s across the way, hardly open , bad reviews. Stop here, you will not be disappointed. Open everyday, if chef not there , he soon come.

This is an absolute gem amongst some overcrowded and inauthentic restaurants. We had jerk chicken and a few rum punches for our Sunday lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. Big plate of incredible Caribbean rice & beans, coconut coleslaw, plantain, salad, and the rest. Check the chalk board but always take the recommendations. We walked here from White House Bay which made for a nice excuse to have a real feast. The beach is wonderful, with a cracking view looking out at Nevis. For those who like people watching, it is positively hilarious down at the other end of the beach - “sardines on sun loungers eating burgers”. Please don’t hesitate to go here, it’s authentic, personable and unforgettable.
