Hidden from the road this collection of eateries, Thai, Indian, Asian, with outside seating spread across a spacious area in various nooks is well worth a visit. The central place is the bar area " Social Retreat" that does wicked cocktails, beers etc and food. Wifey and I visited one afternoon and sat at the bar sampling a few drinks. She and her friend returned another afternoon and, by quirk of fate, I joined them and we sat in the comfy armchairs for several hours testing the gin and tonic. The following night a group of us returned for food and drinks but some had to peel off elsewhere due to a food allergy issue. The food was excellent but be aware that the kitchen is small with limited capacity so bulk catering is not going to happen and, quite frankly, as the food is cooked to order from fresh ingredients anything hurried would just spoil it. Best option is to order your food, get a drink and relax. Such a good experience at The Social. Great vibes and atmosphere, and some of the best pasta I’ve had on the island!
