Rabot Restaurant and The Cacao Bar

We visited from a nearby hotel and were leery because of some recent reviews, but ultimately very happy we booked, and would recommend to those visiting looking for a special date night or celebration. Service was excellent. Restaurant was clean and beautiful open air design overlooking the pitons. Plenty of tasty surprise dishes included, and an interesting incorporation of chocolate into each dish without being overpowering. I had the special of the day, Kingfish with garlic butter, coconut rice and vegetables - this was so fresh, and easily the best quality and tastiest fish of the trip. This fish dish was worth the drive alone. You can see into the kitchen area and everything is prepared with care and attention. Fresh pesto with bread for dipping, white chocolate mashed potato, passionfruit mousse with fried puff pastry… all very tasty. Make sure you save room for dessert! You can see the pricing on the menu which is similar to other resort dining, and justified given the quality and uniqueness of the experience. The staff were also very attentive, filling water regularly and brought extra bread and sauces at no charge when we had devoured the pesto. If the visitor and guest parking are full, you can park in staff parking (turning left after the gates) and walk up a flight of stairs.

Love the staff, the service and the atmosphere. Oh and the view. Food was great except for some. Pick the chicken and the foccacia on the house was impressive. So is the cacao tea. Just overpriced and some insistent of having cacao in everything is a bit over the too for e.g. where the rice could have just been normal rice without cacao nibs. All in all, we love our night. It was worth it for a special day.

This place would get a six out of six if that were an option. The food is absolutely amazing and infused with chocolate, which is the theme of the hotel. The service is a 10 out of 10 they even bring your floating breakfast downstairs and serve it to you in the pool. The atmosphere is one of the most relaxing I’ve ever experienced, and the view is breathtaking. If you’re in St. Lucia, please stop by this place wear your bathing suit and head downstairs!

We were fortunate enough to have breakfast here every morning during our stay... it's worth visiting just for the view alone; this place is incredible! There were plenty of choices available on the menu and the food we were served each morning was delicious. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, we can't wait to come back again soon!

We had a delicious dinner here for my friend's birthday. An extensive food and drink menu, every dish was packed with flavour, cooked to perfection and washed down with superb red wine options. The pork starter was a particular highlight. Service was fantastic, gorgeous views from the restaurant, and very comfortable seating. We couldn't have asked for more. Thankyou!
