We shall discuss the build-up and the main characters involved in the battle, as well as present-day initiatives aiming to commemorate the importance of the Battle of Stirling Bridge. The Tour ends with a unique opportunity to look out at the viewpoint where the wooden bridge from the Battle collapses. On departure we will travel to Luss which is on the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. We will then travel to the Falls of Dochart where you can see a beautiful waterfall and have a refreshment if desired. Afterwards we will travel to Loch Lubnaig where you can see some beautiful scenic views (this stop is dependant on parking availability). By this time you may wish to have a light bite and we will stop at the Trossachs Woollen Mill in Kilmahog where you might have the opportunity to meet some 'hairy coos' (highland cattle) however this is dependant on the month as they are only here between April and October. You may also wish to buy souvenirs here. Our final stop of the day is the magnificent Stirling Castle.
