During this short jungle trek you have a big chance to see Sumatran Orangutans and other wildlife as well as a wide variety of plants and insects. In the morning at 10:30 our English speaking guide will pick you up from your nearby guest house in Bukit Lawang. Afterwards your group will start your trek through dense rainforest passing unforgettable scenic viewpoints overlooking the whole valley, the Bohorok River and the village of Bukit Lawang. Towards the end of your trek you will arrive at the foot of Bukit Lawang and will be guided back to your guesthouse by around 15:00 pm. Wonderful Orangutan Sumtera is the options get a wonderful and unforgettable experience in the jungle. During this activity, you will get a truly unforgettable jungle adventure with our local guides who are certified and professional English-speaking. You go deep into the National Park and will have many opportunities to see orangutans and other wildlife close to their natural habitat. You will stay overnight in a campsite near by river or waterfall in the Gunung Leuser National Park. We will hike even deeper into the forest, the deeper parts of the rainforest you have a higher chance of spotting different species of birds as well like the great argus rhinoceros hornbill, etc., before tubing the Bohorok River back to Bukit Lawang

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your guesthouse around 9:00 am. You will walk down the river, then go uphill and cross rubber plantations in the way to the entrance of the Gunung Leuser National Park. Once you have entered the jungle, you should have spotted them high on the tree canopies. Afterwards, you will keep trekking through the rainforest and stop for a yummy snack of tropical fruits. Then you will hike up again and walk for about one more hour and enjoy unforgettable viewpoints overlooking the whole valley of the Bohorok River and the Gunung Leuser National Park on the background. After a jungle lunch, keep walking through the jungle to discover other amazing wildlife such as Long Tail Macaques, Pig Tail Macaques Thomas Leaf Monkeys and Monitor Lizard ! Stop at a small creek or at a waterfall and take a swim to refresh yourself. After this short break, continue trekking upstream to the Bohorok River and keep spotting amazing wildlife along the way.
