Everything was very nice. Seafood was delicious! Lots of choices on the menu, the seafood platter was excellent. Service very good. Sunset view spectacular.

The Wreck Restaurant – A True Culinary Gem by the Atlantic! If you ever find yourself in Swakopmund and are looking for an unforgettable dinner experience by the ocean, make your way to The Wreck Restaurant — just 4.5 km north of town, right by the beach. It’s absolutely worth the short drive! I had been searching for a great beachfront restaurant with excellent food, and after a few fully booked options, I called The Wreck. A friendly gentleman answered, and my 7:00 PM reservation was secured effortlessly. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Within about 30 minutes, our meals arrived — beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. I had the risotto with kingklip, and it was simply outstanding! The flavors were balanced and fresh, the texture perfect, and the fish cooked to perfection. The service was professional, and the view of the Atlantic Ocean at sunset created the perfect atmosphere. The restaurant has that wonderful mix of elegance and warmth — ideal for couples, families, or anyone who enjoys fine dining with a coastal touch. I later learned that the head chef is a talented Namibian from Rehoboth — what an incredible job! His passion truly shines through in every dish. Without a doubt, The Wreck now ranks among my top three restaurants in Swakopmund. I give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the coast. In the years to come, I’m sure this place will be so popular you’ll need to book well in advance! I’ll definitely be returning — see you again soon, The Wreck Restaurant!

Simply amazing setting. Food is excellent, staff warm and helpful. Food comes quickly. Vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Was our 1st time visiting The Wreck Restaurant and surfer's corner. The waitress didn't even give us a change to decide where to sit then she asked what do want to drink. We sat outside since it was a lovely day and had our dog with us. Tables need some cleaning - a coat of paint or varnish would make it easier to clean. Some maintenance on the outside seating walls also needed. Coffee was ok as was the toasted sandwich. The 2 menus we receive both had pages missing, luckily we had 2. Expected much more like home made sourdough bread etc. Our 2nd time visiting The Surfer's corner was even worse service almost non existing. Had to go inside and look for a waiter. Cappucino was served without brining sugar along, waiter never returned to our table. Such a great place with the best views but service non existing, coffee ok.

Good experience here. Called 15 minutes before opening time to make a reservation and it went smoothly. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The soup and complimentary bread were amazing. The fish was not well done according to my liking, I sent it back for further grilling and it was slightly better. Overall, I recommend this restaurant.
