We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The guys helped us choose a wonderful wine and brought us a gift of mulled wine. And when they found out it was my husband's birthday, they gave us a wonderful Pavlova with red currants and strawberries. They even had a sparkler and sang a song to congratulate us. Thanks to our waiters, Lera and Ivan, and of course, to the wonderful chef for a wonderful evening. Everything was perfect. A group of 14 of us showed up at 7pm on a Sunday night WITHOUT a reservation. Daniel K. looked at us and magically made it happen. We sat outside overlooking the beautiful ocean, under fairy lights for lovely ambiance and ate delicious food with great service by Daniel & his team. Thank you so much for such a wonderful dining experience. We had a great time!! This is a post review addition Because dessert just came And it was freaking unbelievable It was the Pavlova Oh My G-d. I could have eaten 12. It was soooooooo delicious. Definitely order it! I find it hard to believe that this place had 4.7 reviews. It was the worst meal I've had in Tel Aviv. The service is terrible. We waited almost an hour to order our meals and another 30 minutes to get them. I had the octopus. It was rubbery and tasteless. The mashed potatoes tasted like powdered from a box. My dining partner had the squid ink pasta with seafood. Everything was chewy and cooked very poorly. Even the napkins are cheap. But the price was so high and definitely not worth it. Sorry Villa mare. Do better or get off the beach.

Ivan, our waiter, was great. Not his fault the food is not up to par. Do not order the "risotto". It is cooked rice with a sauce mixed in. It wasn't even hot. Red tuna was nothing to write home about. When they bus'd our table and saw more than half the food not eaten, the didn't blink an eye. The octopus is edible. French fries were cold. By far the worst meal I had in Israel.

We were not allowed to enjoy the sea view nor the fresh air out side (on the balcony), as this is saved only for smokers. Why do non smokers being locked behind close doors with no fresh air, no view, and cold air conditioning, while outside it is such a nice breeze and the see is so beautiful? We were very disappointed. The reservation process did not reveal that the balcony is saved for smokers only and that there is no place safe from smoking.
