Where We’ll Explore Our journey will begin in Shiodome—a district walled in with glass and steel skyscrapers. From here we will head to Ginza, famed for its broad avenues lined with intricate examples of avant-garde architecture. Afterward, we will end up in Yurakucho where we will explore the innards of the monolithic Tokyo International Forum.

In this class, I’ll show you how to make ramen and gyoza from scratch using fresh, natural ingredients—no MSG or artificial flavorings. We’ll knead the noodles, prepare a rich broth, and create delicious homemade dumplings together. Think of me as your “Tokyo mom”—here to guide you, cook with you, and help you feel right at home. If you have any dietary needs—such as food allergies, or vegan or halal preferences—please mention them when booking. Master Takeda and Iai-Mugairyu Master Takeda Hougyoku is the head of the International Iaido Organization Hougyoku-kai. The largest mugairyu organization, and practices the purest, most traditionally faithful form of Mugairyu. He is recognized globally having received accolades from the Order of the Scottish Samurai and appeared in a promotion video given by Tokyo at an international convention. You need years of experience practicing Iai before you will be able to safely wield a real sword. The use of a real katana by an inexperienced swordsman presents both the risk of injury to yourself and the participants around you and the risk of bending or damaging the sword. Even if you have insurance, it is impossible to erase the damage of any accident that may occur. Therefore, to prevent any accidents and provide peace of mind for everyone – you, the other participants, the teachers, etc. involved, we will only use mock katana in this experience.

If you choose to learn to make Udon, you’ll be kneading the dough with your hands (and feet) and turning it into noodles. It is hard work but worth it to get heavenly homemade udon noodles, far superior to store-bought ones. Other meal options comprise okonomiyaki or tempura or Japanese sweets. Please let Masako know your preference when you create your booking. Dishes will be cooked using some fresh, seasonal ingredients from the farmers market in Niigata. After cooking, you will enjoy a sit-down meal that ends with a sweet dessert.

The activity is a completely private lesson and school which offers the opportunity to actually drive a JDM drift car, with a legendary OG teacher for beginners and intermediate experience drivers. We also have a replica undercover police vehicle so we can give you the feel of an actual police chase at the end of the session! For beginners we will teach you to do a proper donut and if you master that, we will move on to a figure 8. For intermediate drivers, we will teach you more skills using e-brakes and more higher gear changing. There is a graduation challenge course for everyone, lets see how much you can improve to clear this challenge! You will either be driving a Mazda MX-5 Miyata NB for beginners, and a Nissan 350Z, Mazda RX-8, or Nissan 180SX for more skilled drivers. The cars and teachers will vary according to the day. Okonomiyaki is a Japanese-style savory pancake. “Okonomi” means “As-you-like-it” and “Yaki” means to “cook/stir-fry/grill”. In this class, we will make a Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki which has a layer of vegetables, dried ingredients, pork and egg noodles. It’s so much fun to flip several times with using special kitchen tools. Gyoza is a dumpling with minced pork and vegetable stuffing. You will learn the secrets how to make crispy Gyoza.
