The food here was so good! I highly recommend getting one of their burritos—they were delicious. The margaritas were amazing too, especially the strawberry one (definitely a must-try!). Our server, Jann, was fantastic—she gave great recommendations and made the whole experience so memorable. There was even live music, and some locals put on an incredible show for us. Such a lovely spot with great vibes all around. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic experience. The service was outstanding, the drinks tasty and well priced and the food was exceptional. We shared grilled shrimp tacos and tempura fish tacos. We couldn’t decide which were more delicious. And I’m not sure how they made their tortillas, but I’ve never had anything as tasty! Jorge was our server and provided excellent service.

Fantastic restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. The dishes were full of flavor, the prices were reasonable, and our waitress completely won us over. This spot truly elevated our trip to Tulum, we even continued the night with drinks and dancing at the rooftop bar right in front, owned by the same place. Highly recommended!

This place had a nice ambiance. Mauricio helped our table, and he was a great server. It was cute seeing the servers do little dances near the bar to the music that was playing. The table ordered a variety of foods and everyone enjoyed their meals. Everyone got sodas, and I had the fresh fruit juice and nachos. The fruit juice was very good. I also enjoyed the flavor of the nachos, but give the nachos a lower rating because they weren't quite to my liking of nachos. Specifically, the chips, they were thick cut and almost felt stale to me, but then again, I prefer to have softer chips when it comes to consumption. There were pureed black beans on the nachos, which I hadn't seen before, but I enjoyed it because it allowed for better distribution. However, I would also knock down a point on the nachos for there being little toppings left for the nachos by the time you're halfway through the bowl. While I didn't try the dish, if you're looking for more of a bang for your buck, then get the garlic shrimp. Other comes with rice, a salad, and shrimp, thus feeling more like a whole complete meal as opposed to just an entree. Friends also told be the steak they had in their dishes were flavorful as well.

If there is one place in Tulum that one needs to eat at, it is Onyx Tulum. The food is simply incredible! my favorite of the grilled shrimp taco and nachos. The drinks are delicious and my favorite spicy margarita of the trip to Tulum was made here. The highlight of the whole amazing meal was Barbara. She is by far the #1 hospitality professional that we had the pleasure of meeting. If you’re lucky you get to have her be your guide thru the amazing culinary and drink experience at Onyx. Also this place is great for people looking for great gluten free options and Barbara and the staff were so good about ensuring my daughter had good food to eat.
