Getting Around
Getting around the US Virgin Islands is an adventure in itself. Taxis are readily available on St. Thomas and St. Croix, offering a convenient, albeit sometimes pricey, way to reach destinations. On St. John, taxis are the primary mode of transport, and many visitors opt for rental jeeps to explore its rugged terrain. Ferries connect the main islands, with regular service between St. Thomas and St. John, and occasional service to St. Croix. Renting a car is recommended for exploring St. Croix at your own pace. Be prepared for driving on the left-hand side of the road.
