This locally guided food walking tour includes all tastings and a real insight into the life of a local. As they say, you can't beat Wellington on a good day and while we can't control the weather, we do like to make it a great days while you're exploring the city with us. The tour includes coffee, chocolate, a second generation owned restaurant, a gorgeous waterfront eatery with a special purpose and maybe the answer to the question 'where is the best cheese scone?" And we're topping it off with craft beer, charcuterie and cheese. Wellington is the culinary capital of New Zealand and we love you all our hidden gems! It's a slow paced walking tour that shared the character, culture and history of this great capital city along the way. There is time to stop and buy if you would like to and our very knowledgeable team are more than happy to set you right for places to eat and enjoy during your tour! Our guests enjoy traveling in the comfort and luxury of electric Tesla SUVs. We provide a private tour to you, taking you to scenic locations and vineyards that large tour buses do not. Tours are fully inclusive with no added extra charges. They include morning refreshments, lunch, and all wine-tasting fees. Complimentary Antipodes artesian mineral water, along with HEPA air conditioning, and if you wish your choice of music on Tesla's Spotify system on the way back to Wellington. Please note vineyards visited may vary as a result of their opening hours.

Take a scenic drive up the Hutt Valley to the Stuart Macaskill Lakes and Kaitoke Regional Park including the film site of Rivendell. Enjoy the awe-inspiring drive over the Remutaka Ranges to the shores of Lake Onoke for a seaside lunch. Explore the spectacular ‘badlands erosion’ forming earth pillars at the Putangirua Pinnacles before visiting the North Island’s largest permanent fur seal colony. Finally conquer the climb to the Cape Palliser Lighthouse at the south eastern most point of the North Island. Dinner is served back in Martinborough at the historic Martinborough Hotel. Day Two sees you head to the east coast and traverse the Deliverance Track up to Castle Rock. Wander along the lagoon and reef up to the Castlepoint Lighthouse. Have lunch at the Whakataki Hotel before heading back to Wellington via three foodie stops at quint Wairarapa towns including a world class local winery, a chocolate maker, a cheesemaker with a tasting experience at each.
