Mil's Kitchen Jogja

Quite enjoyed the experience offered by Mil's Kitchen. The staff were communicative and attentive even though it was fairly empty for a dinner during a weekday. We opened with Escargot and Wagyu Cheek & Bone Marrow. It was surprising to find some sort of tomato puree inside the escargot. The sauce on the wagyu was a little too sweet for us, but the bone had a great amout of marrow inside. Smoked Octopus Taliwang was okay, though the texture of the octopus unexpected. It was not rubbery at all; it had a perfect texture. But the sauce was too sweet for me, same goes with the sauce of the Panseared Barramundi. The staff politely explained that they used the same sauce base but the latter had a mixture of kencur in it, though I still couldn't distinguish the two. Fish Mullet Minangkabau was good, it had a little bit of sambal matah to offset the creaminess of the sauce. For dessert, we tried Jasuke Cheesecake. It was amazing. The warm cheesecake meeting the icy jasuke ice cream...match made in heaven. This plate had the best food we ate during our visit. Overall, me and my family enjoyed the experience we had at Mil's Kitchen Jogja. We really loved their Jasuke Cheesecake and would love to come back and try their noodle along with other dessert.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a waiter at August in Jakarta and it didn't disappoint. The food and service was excellent, we were only in jogja for two days and we visited 3 times! Loved the food it was amazing thank you!

Mil’s Kitchen is a hidden gem in Jogja! The menu offers a nice mix of Western and Asian comfort food with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The flavors were well balanced, and the plating was neat yet casual. The place itself feels cozy and modern, perfect for brunch or a relaxed dinner. Service was friendly and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality.

I was a bit doubtful when it comes to fusion but this restaurant delivers! The combination between Western and Indonesian cuisines works perfectly! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The Duck Confit was very nice, the duck was marinated using Indonesian sauce. It worked so perfectly with mashed potato. The Merapi Lava Cheese Croquette was nice, not at all too cheesy. It's highly recommended for those who want a break from traditional cuisine in Yogyakarta.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled chicken breast was especially tasty, and the wagyu pastrami was a standout. For dessert, the Jasuke Cheesecake was absolutely heavenly and I would definitely recommend trying it. The staff were very nice and the service was smooth and welcoming. The place itself is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a good meal. I definitely recommend coming here, it’s worth the visit!
