It can get quite crowded, especially at night, but the experience is worth the wait. Perfect place to enjoy good food, culture, and vibes in one spot. The cost performance ratio is really high since the portion is really big. However, since there are too many customers all the time, be patient with your orders since it takes around half an hour based on my visit this time. The staffs are really professional to serve you all the time; however it is still traditional in payment by cash only. Not credit, debit or online transfer here. Super hot restaurant with lots of heritage stuffs, such as pictures, carriage and so on. The foods they serve is yummy and taste with Indonesian flavor. Various choices with lovely price Very local and affordable The only thing that might worthwhile to mention is that you need to endure the smoking sitting in the smoking area or you have to floor seating with you shoes off

Visited this place back in 2018. Just got a chance to post this and share our experience back then. What we remembered was that inside, this restaurant had heritage and exotic design and stuff. We sat on the floor (lesehan), but tables are available as well. We ordered menu bareng for 4, ayam koteka and dawet jumbo. The food was yummy. The sambal and the sate especially. Love the dawet jumbo is so perfect for the weather in Jogja. Overall, we had a nice experience while visiting Jogja. 😊
