I came here as a participant of an International Seminar held by Graduated School, Universitas Gadjah Mada. In two days I take Lunch here, All the foods and drinks has a very good taste, in accordance with its class as 5-Star Hotel restaurant. Hopefully I can go back there one time as a guest in their Hotels..😁👏🏼

I had been in this property from 24th Sept to 26th September. "Yogyakarta Kitchen offers an exquisite all-day dining experience within the Marriott hotel. The food is incredibly flavorful, especially the authentic Indonesian specialties like the Gudeg Yogyakarta and Sate Maranggi. The atmosphere is bright, spacious, and inviting, and the staff is consistently praised for being attentive, friendly, and providing excellent service. It’s a lovely and convenient restaurant, particularly recommended for the lunch and dinner buffet/à la carte options. * **Cuisine:** A soulful blend of authentic Indonesian flavors, with subtle Asian and Western influences. The buffet is highly recommended. Atmosphere: It is having an upbeat atmosphere, vibrant décor, and being bright, well-lit, and spacious. Service: The staff and waiters receive exceptional praise for being extremely nice, lovely, and attentive.

The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had food enough. The most important I liked was variety of JAMU ( is a traditional Indonesian herbal medicine and health drink).

The Taste is exceeding my expectation. Staying at the Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel, and it is truly nice. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles. The hotel’s location is ideal just steps away from Pakuwon Mall and a short drive to iconic sites like Prambanan Temple, whether you're in town for business or leisure. My room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. Thanks to Mr Panuwun, Yugaz and Ms Lala from the resto staff. Great Job.

Yogyakarta Kitchen is the main restaurant at the Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations—especially for lunch. The food here is incredibly flavorful, surpassing even some well-known restaurants I’ve tried elsewhere. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend making time for lunch here. For lunch, the standouts were the Gudeg Yogyakarta, Garang Asem, and Sate Maranggi. Each dish was perfectly cooked, bursting with authentic flavors, and absolutely delightful. The Gudeg, in particular, was a highlight—rich, flavorful, and a true taste of Yogyakarta’s culinary heritage. The restaurant also serves the breakfast buffet, which offers a vast selection of options, primarily focused on Indonesian cuisine from various regions. While the flavors at breakfast were good, they didn’t quite match the wow factor of the lunch menu. However, the variety and freshness were impressive. Plus, they change the menu daily, ensuring a different experience if you stay multiple nights. The ambiance is welcoming, and the staff are attentive, adding to the overall dining experience. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just stopping by, Yogyakarta Kitchen is definitely worth visiting, especially for lunch—you won’t be disappointed!
