About This Tour
Tour from Würzburg, the old University town at the River Main, to Weikersheim, famous for its Renaisance castle with magnificent "Knights Hall" and Baroque court garden. Along small wine villages in the Tauber valley to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany`s most romantic town. Travel including wine tasting with wines from the Franconian wine region (sparkling, white, red) during the tour. Rothenburg is the highlight of the Romantic Road, which can discovered individually: the historical Market Place with Town Hall, Gothic Parish Church of St. Jakob, Klingentor, Plönlein, Spital and Spital bastion, medieval Crime and Torture Museum, German Christmas Museum in Käthe Wohlfarth`s Christmas Village. Taste the regional Franconian kitchen with wine and beer and taste the "Snowballs" a traditional Franconian cake.
