About This Tour
Steeped in the history of Viking invaders and blessed with a captivating landscape of glittering seas and rolling hills, the Isle of Man is unique amongst the islands of Britain. Home to Manx cats, the iconic TT races and the world's oldest continuous parliament, you'll journey into the heart of a land filled with ancient myths and legends in the company of Nigel, a man who arrived here thirty years ago, married a Manx girl and refused to leave. Peel is a lovely City! Though it's not huge, just has two cathedrals giving it City status. At Peel we can enjoy our picnic lunch and taste a local beer watching the world go by.
At Peel we'll have a guided tour of the famous Moores Kipper Factory. The last of our original smoke houses on the island. We get to taste the final product at the end.
