About This Tour
Gyumri is the second largest city in Armenia. Black Fortress is an abandoned Russian imperial fortress in Gyumri city. The fortress, which lies 8 kilometres from the Turkish border, was built in response to the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829. It is one of the most beautiful a historical-cultural monuments in Armenia!
