About This Tour
Private tour led by the Lviv Holocaust Research Foundation team that retraces the route from the ghetto to Janowska hybrid camp (work / transit / death) - delapidated Prison #30 of Ukraine today. The mass execution site at Lysynychi is visited thereafter and we conclude by investigating several specific locations in Lviv city centre where murderous violence occurred during the Lviv pogroms. Learn about the pre-war buildings of Polish Lwów beside which we compare historic photos of large groups of people being transported to execution sites. You will stand in the same places where Jews and many other normal people stood before walking or being transported to certain death. This is an emotionally taxing experience so ready yourself - much of Lviv is unchanged since World War II. All monies received for this tour goes back into Lviv Holocaust Research Foundation.
