About This Tour

How plants and animals survive off the moisture off the Fog, the formation of the 400 million year old Moonlandscape and how the age old Welwitschia Plants grow. Welwitschia plants of up to 1500 years old can be seen Then we head south past Dune 7 into Walvisbay to the Ramsar wetland and lagoon area to view thousands of Flamingos and other waders, past the pink salt lakes along the shore onto the beautiful and stunning Sandwich Harbor dunes.
