Electric motor helps you when pedalling the bike. This is still a bit sportive activity, but electricity just gives your legs the superpower to make riding more enjoyable.
We start from Saariselkä village center, but the trails dive deep into the beautiful forests around.
During the polar night period the daylight is very short; luckily we have good lights to ride with!
The trails are made by man and a snowmobile pulling a groomer. It's not super wide, so you need to concentrate to stay on the tracks.
From Christmas time ahead, we usually have plenty of soft snow to dive in. If you fall down, soft landing is guaranteed :)
