About This Tour
Burgundy is one of France’s most prolific wine-growing regions, renowned for its Pinot noir and Chardonnay wines. With this tour, dive into Burgundy’s wine-making heritage as you explore both the Côte de Beaune & Côte de Nuits districts with your local host/guide. Avoid the big commercial wineries and instead, discover three independent wineries where young winemakers are making some incredible wines. Visit the wine cellars and stroll the vineyards, sample more than 15 exciting wines from famous appellations including premier and grand crus, and enjoy lunch (paid on site) at a local restaurant. Our goal is to bring the “joie de vie” (joy of life) that is France to our clients. We love the food, people, history, culture and, of course…the wine. Burgundy Discovery primarily offers small group, private, and gourmet tours to those who enjoy food & wine and want to discover the secrets of Burgundy.
