However, these high passes are not the only attraction of this heavenly trek. From the beautiful glaciers, to the famous KalaPathar (5,535m) and eventually the Everest Base Camp (5,364m) itself, the entire adventure brings together an arduous journey which is well supplemented by the present of four of the highest mountains including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Makalu (8,470m), Cho Yu (8,156m), Mt.Lhotse (8,591m), as well as several others. The view from the high passes is extraordinary and rarely trekkers will get to be surrounded by these ice giants and walk on the rocky trails.
