Please note that check-in at most hotels begins at 1:00 PM. Clients will be subject to room availability if they arrive early, they are allowed to wait in the hotel lobby.

If your trip includes visiting high-altitude cities like Cusco and Puno located at more than 3,400 meters (11,200 feet above sea level), don't forget to take precautions to avoid altitude sickness. Passengers who have heart problems or high blood pressure should check with their doctor before traveling.

Upon arrival, it is recommended to rest for a few hours, drink coca tea and eat lightly. For reference, Machu Picchu is located at 2,400 meters (8,000 feet above sea level)

INSTRUCTIONS The domestic flight from Lima to Arequipa and from Cusco to Lima is not included. Make sure the flights are in the morning. Arrivals after noon are too late.

What do I need to bring? Comfortable and light clothing is recommended to visit the coastal areas of Peru, while for the high Andean area the use of warm clothing is recommended. Visitors are not recommended to wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or short clothing when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and mosquito repellant can come in very handy during your stay.
