About This Tour
Boarding at the port of Chandon (20km from Tours) on a toue cabanée, a traditional flat-bottomed boat, for a 2h30 to 3h ride. You will share the knowledge of our boatmen who will tell you the history of the Cher and explain to you the operation and ingenuity of the needle dams, invented in 1834.
