About This Tour

This two-week itinerary includes much of the best: A highlight for many visitors to Ethiopia is a multi-day trek in the Simien Mountains, walking along a high altitude plateau amongst troops of Gelada Baboon and the rare Wallia Ibex with incredible views of an endless mountain-scape. On either side of the trek, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Northern towns of Gondar and Lalibela which form the mainstays of the famous Northern Historical Circuit, boasting the remains of Fasilades’s Castle (once the Camelot of Africa) and the incredible rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. Making use of Ethiopian Airlines twice weekly flights south to Arba Minch; you’ll also get a taster of the diverse and fascinating tribes of the Omo Valley and the dense crocodile populations on Lake Chamo
