About This Tour
Your Kaua'i vacation deserves an authentic surf shop experience. We have been serving Kaua'i locals and visitors since 1997. The person behind the counter is a surfer, ready to help you have the best possible time on island. We know the current surf conditions, we know the spots, and we strive to set you up for a great time out there. We consistently supports our local community, especially the keiki (youth). Happy renters loading their boards onto vehicle. Rack pads for your vehicle are provided no extra charge.
Tamba includes straps and pads to secure the boards to your vehicle. Centrally located in Kapa'a on the east side of Kaua'i.
Renters can swap out boards free during the rental period. Tamba quiver has a wide variety of board types, including soft tops.
Tamba rents body boards too. Located about 9 miles north of the airport. Pick up your rental boards on the way to your condo, drop them off on the way back home.
Surfers work here. We'll steer you to the best surf spots based on current conditions, help you choose a board, and give you pro advice.
Open 7 days a week, Tamba is an authentic surf shop stocked with quality surf gear and custom surf apparel like UV shirts and rash guards.

From airport, drive approx. 9 miles, driving to north end of Kapa'a Town. Tamba is on the left side (Mauka side)of highway, look for the large red Tamba sign shaped like a stop sign, next to Mokihana Coffee, Holey Grail Donuts, and Familee Korean Shave Ice.
