About This Tour
Access to the start of the trails is often a challenge if you are not among the first 20 cars allowed in and a high clearance vehicle is recommended. We offer a 4x4 ride in a safari vehicle from Lanzerac Hotel into the reserve to the start of the trail. This way more distance can be covered than by walking to the start of the trail, which will add an extra 10km of jeep track to the trail. DUE TO TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE IN THE RESERVE, WE NEED TO WALK THE EXTRA 10 KM OF JEEP TRACK IN THE RESERVE. OTHER HIKING ROUTES IN THE RESERVE CAN BE EXPLORED UNTIL THE ROAD RE-OPENS IN JULY 2026. Our guide is a registered mountain walking and wilderness first responder guide as well as a nature therapy guide.
