Live like a local in this quiet, unassuming, but history-filled neighborhood of Taman Jurong; where Singapore had its first industrial estate (and accompanying housing), National Service camp, hawker food center, drive-in cinema, and more! You will experience what life is like for an average local away from the busy tourists spots; the food we eat, where we shop, and what makes one of the densest cities in the world one of the most livable cities. No fancy buildings and streets, but plenty of beautiful stories to share with. We conduct free tours like this because we enjoy meeting friends from all over the world! (No tips required.)
