About This Tour
If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta and your main interest are birds, count yourself lucky! In this paradise there are nearly 350 bird species in their varied ecosystems and habitats. Considered one of the 100 most attractive sites in Mexico for bird watching: Golden-cheeked Woodpecker, cinnamon hummingbird, Green jay, black-throated magpie jay are all common sightings in the area. We head toward the tropical semi-deciduous forest. Along the way, we explore preserved habitats that remain on the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta. We then drive up to enjoy a breathtaking view of Banderas Bay. Finally, we finish at the shoreline, immersing ourselves in the mangrove forest while searching for shorebirds.
