About This Tour
Ride the Gorge Explorer to a number of attractions in the Gorge. The tour starts with a narrated trip to Multnomah Falls with 30 minutes at the Falls and the option of the Waterfall Trolley. It continues through the Gorge with an option for a riverboat cruise at Cascade Locks or Gray Line’s Fruit Valley Trolley and the Mt Hood Railroad tour train from Hood River. You can also design you own day to include wineries, breweries and shopping in Hood River, the hub of Gorge activities. The coach services the following attractions with the cost of those attractions included depending on the option chosen: Multnomah Falls - a no additional cost option Waterfall Trolley Hop-On Hop-Off tour of the Waterfall Corridor Cascade Locks and the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler Hood River and the Mount Hood Railroad, Fruit Valley Trolley, Western Antique Aeroplane and Auto Museum Gray Line is the only operator in Portland that uses a motorcoach. The ticket booth and primary boarding location is at 846 SW Park Avenue. Look for the Gray Line Pink Sales Booth on Director Park which is kitty corner from the southwest rear corner of the Nordstrom store on SW Broadway. We do not pick up at the hotels as our departure point is in the heart of the downtown hotel district. Parking in downtown Portland: Pay parking is available in City owned parking structure 2 blocks away on SW 10th and SW Yamhill.
