About This Tour
Join your local host Daniela and her mother in their cozy kitchen for a hands-on cooking class. During your 1-2 hour lesson you will learn to prepare 2-3 authentic Colombian dishes that you will later share with the welcoming family at their dining table. Some of the dishes you may learn to cook are Colombian picada (a platter of fried meats and vegetables) or sudado de muchacho (traditional meat and potato dish) and ajiaco (traditional soup). Your meal ends on a sweet note such as chicharrón mazamorra (a traditional dessert made with corn).
