Half day Pokhara ( Bindabasini temple, Seti, Gorkha museum, Mahendra cave)

One of the most popular and most visited of these is the intriguing Bindabasini Temple. This striking temple looks calmly over the bustling city of Pokhara. It is of great religious importance to Hindus living in the Pokhara region. The temple itself is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga, who is Pokhara’s chosen guardian deity. Seti River Gorges is one of the natural wonder of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge provides a perfect view of the river's dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water. Gurkha Musuem reflects the background of the Gurkha soldiers who live mostly in the hills and lead a harsh life that makes them one of the best soldiers in the world. There are displays of uniforms, medals, khukri (Gurkha knife), photographs and military items. Mahendra Cave is the large limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites. A statue of Hindu lord Shiva can be found inside the cave.
