The St. Johns River offers diverse scenery and an abundance of wildlife and the spring run is a designated manatee refuge. During extremely cold weather, over 300 manatees have been counted in the short run. The river on either side of the run is designated as a "No Wake Zone," making this area of the St. Johns GREAT for kayaking and canoeing.

When I'm not in the freshwater and want to head to the beach, this is one of my new favorite places to go! We will paddle the North Indian River Lagoon looking for all kinds of wildlife. The most common we see are the dolphins, aquatic birds, sting rays, and sea turtles with the occasional appearance of a manatee or two. We may stop at one of the Islands to stretch our legs and play in the water along the way (please bring water shoes if you want to get in the water). We paddle about 1.5 miles and the tour starts and ends in the same location. The trip through Ormond Beach's Central Park is actually three parks in one; you'll visit all three, navigating around some and using bridges to go over others. across the three parks, you will see fish, turtles, and stunning sights that make you realize you came on the right tour. In conjunction with taking this tour, a visit to the Environmental Discover Center, our guests will have more comprehensive understanding of the conservation efforts at play in our local environment. This tour will be rewarding for young and older visitors seeking to be more at one with our wild planet.

This is a private "yacht" experience with only your party and the crew onboard. We sail on the beautiful intracoastal waterway in Daytona Beach. We often see various wildlife including Dolphins, Cormorants, Pelicans, and the occasional Eagle and Manatee. Customers are encouraged to bring along catering, snacks, alcoholic beverages excluding "hard liquor and red wine, it stains the deck", and whatever is required to make your experience special. Our boat is a catamaran with comfortable shaded seating in the saloon area, seats that literally hang out "over the water" on the aft deck, and comfortable seating in the open air on our forward deck along with "trampolines" that are just above the water for sunbathing. We have a table that seats 6 and full restroom facilities.
