Hi, my name is Matteo and thank you for being here! In my family business we make Tuscan pottery since generations, and after achieving the Certificate of Excellence from Tripadvisor we decided to open our knowledge to everyone that is curious to discover that very ancient tradition and wants to learn its secrets. In a full immersive two/three hours class we will experience together all the process in ceramic making. Our shop in town is like our house, it is open since twenty years and it will be a pleasure to share our passion with you. The factory is a bit outside the city (in case I will bring you there with my car) and is where we make the magic, and you will see how many hands handle one single ceramic from a piece of clay to a decorated majolica. Then I won't say more, it's a full-immersive experience that you have to feel with your eyes, your hands and your heart.

I have a real passion for quality food and I am impatient to share it with new people. Cooking and eating all together is such a good experience that I don't want to keep it just for me! I'm realy enthusiastic for the genuine italian cuisine since childhood and I look forward to meet new "lovers" every day!

For a day you will get away from the crowds, heat, noise and queues. Enjoy a day of nature, incredible views, friendly people, great food and wine! Our experience starts in Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. The name of our farm is Agriturismo Tenuta Chiudendone. Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our vineyard and olive grown. We'll visit the gardens to gather ingredients for our lunch, which we'll prepare together. You'll find out how traditional Tuscan cuisine is simple, fresh, and delicious. Depending on the season, we might pick grapes, olives, wild asparagus, wild herbs, or even hunt for prized white truffles in autumn. PLEASE NOTE ! THIS EXPERIENCE IS ONLY FOR EXTROVERTED SMILING PEOPLE

The best way to ride in Florence and surrounding hills? With a vintage "motocarrozzetta" (motorcycle sidecar), no doubt. It's the only way to experience the Oltrarno area, Michelangelo square and terrace, San Miniato church and hills behind it, including Arcetri where Galileo Galilei spent his last years in Florence. Perfect to take videos and pictures of the hidden corners of the city and from the panoramic points. Much more comfortable and safe than a scooter, enjoying the breeze not being in a car or minivan! The best way to catch both sides of the city: it's old districts (i.e. San Niccolò, the bohemian one...) and the countryside landscape around it. Our personal suggestion is to book it for your first day in Florence, so to have a complete introduction to it... VERY IMPORTANT: please remember that we ride old vintage motorcycles sidecar and we might refuse bookings due to weight limit.

When dining out the first thing to remember is that Italy didn’t even become a country until the unification of its 20 regions in 1861. For this reason, Italians, and especially Florentine’s are still, even today, very much connected to and proud of their regional culture and of course cuisine. Our authentic Florentine dining experience will take you back in time to the origins of some of Florence’s most renowned dishes. To the tables of the nobleman and peasants alike. To the courts and banquets hosted by the Medici. Your hosts, Monica and Simone, will guide you on a culinary journey explaining each dish including both its historical origin but sometimes more importantly its cultural significance. Your four course meal will be accompanied by a selection of traditional, locally produced wines and exceptional extra virgin olive oil. Our Florentine Food Experience is a deep dive into local history and culture through our traditions at the table. Buon Appetito
