La Alpina Restaurante

We were excited to go have aome familiar food. Being Swiss, Alpina sounds like we would get food serves in the Alps. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Service didn't make an effort. In fact its not really service but more like food runners and order takers. We had two salads, which came without dressing so we had to ask for oil and balsamico. Then we had deer and a beef tenderloin. Waiter didn't ask how well cooked we wanted it and so we received it well done, which made it very dry. On the deer dish it was sided with rucola and cherry tomatoes and a red sauce and I was hoping to eat it with the deer. Unfortunately the squashed ketchup on the salad as dressing. What Chef would do that? I say no Chef who ever cooked in a proper restaurant would even have ketchup in their kitchen for any reason. Hence the 3 stars. Not recommended if you want something nice

AVOID!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost. Flavorless food, disgraceful service. One of the waitresses spilled the minestrone soup all over my pants and covered my kid in tomato sauce while serving plates and didn’t bother apologizing. Waiter walked away from us and my daughter’s food was stale fish that look frozen then microwaved. AVOID!!!!

Great budget option in the region. Mainly compared to other restaurants. Mediocre steak 🥩 that was served well done instead of medium, undercooked fries 🍟, and the staff isn't not effective nor nice. I would still recommend as they at least took the fries back for extra frying when asked.

The very best pasta in Bariloche! Good amounts of food, expertly cooked, it was a great experience and we walkecd away full of delicious food!

The food is good, however it could be better. The dishes are small compared with regular Argentinian ones.
