Amazing place. 100% recommend. Best food we had in Norway by far. We had a scallop and an oyster as starters - both were really good and would recommend. We wanted to try the starters but thought we would not be able to finish everything. As mains, we had the catch of the day and the risotto. Both were really well cooked. The fish was a bit tough due to it being some sort of cod but it was really well cooked and garnished so can’t complain. Risotto was perfect. Portions were a good size - not too big and not too small - just enough for a desert. We had the chocolate brownie/cake which was incredible. Also, service was super friendly, professional and recommended nice Norwegian wine (cider) Great experience, definitely recommend coming here. We didn’t book and got lucky - would recommend booking in advance

We had a fantastic dining experience at Lola in Bergen! Appetizer: Small potatoes with pea crème – super tasty and fresh. A solid 8.5/10. Main course: Absolutely outstanding. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare, paired beautifully with Spanish chilies and a smooth pumpkin crème. Easily a 10/10. Dessert: chocolate cake, rich in flavor, with the cheesecake crème adding a great touch. For me, around 7.5/10. On top of the food, the service was excellent. Our waiter, Jaran, was super friendly, explained every dish in detail, and gave great recommendations that really elevated the meal. Overall, Lola delivered a wonderful mix of flavors and warm service. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good time :)!

Can’t say enough about this small and cozy restaurant. Food was top notch, we cleaned up everything on the plate from the starters to the dessert. Service was great as well. Highly recommended eatery.

The best dinner we had in Bergen. We had the summer salad and Norwegian new potatoes to start off with. The salad came with caramelised local cheese but it would have been nice to also have an offer of a fresh simple salad as a side. The potato dish seemed a bit pricey but we enjoyed it. We had 2 catch of the day with rhubarb and hollandaise, super nice flavours however one fish was cooked better than the other. We finished it up with the elderflower ice cream which was refreshing and a delight. Would recommend!

We only could reserve one of the later tables, which explains the slower start into the evening. But, taste is what matters the most and this was excellent. Not so important for us, but the size of the portions was very good - not very common these days. Overall, both thumbs up for this evening. Thanks 🙏🏻 Lola, 👍🏻👌🏻👍🏻.
