I visited Pinnocio in the heart of Bergen, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress mentioned it was her first day, but she was attentive, kind, and very helpful throughout the evening. We ordered three small plates to share along with dessert. Both the mushroom toast and the hummus were flavorful and well-prepared, and the dessert was just as enjoyable. Overall, I had a great time at Pinnocio and left completely satisfied,something I can’t always say about other restaurants in Bergen. Highly recommended!

Other reviews call this a hidden gem, and i can only agree. We went here for lunch, luckily we'd reserved a table as it was quite full even at 2pm. The staff recommended we do 3-4 dishes to share for two people, and that was a perfect amount. The flavors were well composed, and I have now tried the best mushroom dish I've ever had. We found the salad a bit too bitter, but everything else was spot on. The brown cheese cheesecake was also a neat, unique dessert. Cozy venue, and a good selection of wines.

We couldn't be happier that a local reccomend Pinocchios to us, and we were able to get a reservation for lunch. We ordered the hummus, salmon, and beef cheeks to share, and each of the dishes were incredible and very passionately created. Lynn was a welcoming and thoughtful host, providing tailored beer and wine reccomendations and helping us decide on dishes.

Great atmosphere, staff, owners, and not least, the food. Small dishes with a lot of flavours. If you are in for the evening, order 3-4 dishes, if just in for a nibble, get 2. We had Scampi, Beef cheeks(long cooked beef, plenty tender and loads of taste) and fries. You might not get the same as they serve from what ingredients they want/can source at the quality they require. It is a must visit if you are in the area, and if you are spending the night in Bergen it is worth going a bit out of your way to enjoy an evening here. PS. Ask for wine pairings, they know what you want. Trust me. Price pr dish is absolutely ok. Our price tagged is based on 3 dishes and drinks.

Lovely venue with a delicious, tapas style menu that changes frequently. Generous portions, perfect to share with choices to suit everyone. Staff friendly and engaging - we had a fabulous evening. Highly recommend the brunost cheesecake!
